Food & Exercise -- 9/25/2003
 
Food:

9:00 (home): 2 poached eggs on 1 slice whole wheat toast w/ 3 slices
melted f/f cheese
12:00 (home -- worked at home today): 4 mint meringue cookies
1:45 (home): 1 packet Tuna Creations (5 oz.) w/ a couple of
tablespoons of f/f mayo
4:30 (driving to gym): energy bar
5:15 (at gym): 1 scoop peanut butter ice cream w/ ~1 tbsp. caramel
topping and ~ 1/4 oz. chopped peanuts (They were doing free sundaes at
the gym, and I was sort of hungry so I indulged.)
7:30 (Pasta/pizza restaurant, with some guys from the gym): 4 largish
meatballs (~ 6 oz. total) w/ marinara sauce (Felt like a lot of food,
though it was lots less than the guys ate.)

Totals: 1497 calories, 55g fat (33%), 142g carbs (38%), 108g protein
(29%)

5:30 p.m. -- Exercise (Olympic lifting):

Muscle cleans: 1x5x20kg/44lbs; 2x5x25/55; 4x3x30/66

Snatch high pulls: 2x5x30/66; 2x5x32.5/71.5; 2x4x35/77; 1x4x37.5/82.5

Squat press (squat, then press bar overhead while rising from squat):
2x5x20/44; 2x4x25/55; 1x3x27.5/60.5

Abs:
a) 15 situps (all situps were with Ahmed standing on my feet)
b) 15 situps holding 10 lb. plate out with both arms straight in
front
c) sitting up on mat with knees bent and Ahmed standing on my feet,
hold 10 lb. plate and twist from side to side touching plate to floor
to either side -- 20 times
d) same as b
e) same as c
