Sweet n Low
How many packets are equal to 1 cup of sugar
I made a sugar free pecan pie and used 24 packets because on the back of the box it said that was what equalled 1 cup of sugar but the pie turned out tasting bad It had a bitter and sour taste and I think because of too much Sweet N Low |
Tom I think if you had used Splenda you would have had better results. How
about 3/4 splenda and 1/4 sugar? Jackie "Tom Folta" wrote in message ... There's a recipe for Pecan Pie on the SweetNLow web site that calls for
about 1/2 the amount you used. Also calls for 1-cup light corn syrup so take that with a grain of Splenda. Some of the recipes are marked as "low carb". :-) Steve "Tom Folta" wrote in message ... There is a sweetener called Sweet N'Low that comes in packets. I think its
saccharin-based. Our office kitchen has it for people who don't want to use sugar. A lot of restaurants keep it on the tables too. on Thu, 21 Apr 2005 15:33:23 GMT, "rosie read n' post" wrote: you are interchanging the name sweet n'low with SPLENDA. they are not the same thing. ----- Bev |
