Maintaining is tough.

Since starting 30 months ago I took off 100 pounds. (in approx 2 months). I
am thinking I took it off too fast as I must have lost much muscle mass too,
since I also lost much strength. 100 pounds that fast must have been too
much. I went from 275 to 173 but was very light headed and wobbly. I found
that 185-188 seemed to be an ideal weight for me. (74 years old, went from
a 46 inch belt to a 34).
.. . . I am now supprised that I really have to work at it to keep under 190.
I can look at a Big Mac and put on a pound without touching the damn thing.
It seems I never eat anything I like (I was more or less warned about this
right here before I started). I am eating healthy but not enjoying the
dining. I sure do enjoy the loss of the ugly fat. Still ugly, but not fat.
.. . .thanks to the lady on this site in Feb 2008, that warned me not to mess
with WW unless I am willing to make a life altering dining change. Or I
would end up putting 150 percent of the lost weight back on. And doing this
in half the time it took to take it off. After the challenge of this
'maintaining' diet, I sure see where she was coming from.
