Hi, Lee! My name is Barbara, I'm 55. I first did WW in 1979, when I was
more determined and the plan was quite rigid, but simple. I've gone back
from
time to time but never have been too happy with it since. Six years ago I
lost close to 50 pounds on Atkins, and have pretty much maintained, in the
sense that I stay within a 20 pound range--it sneaks up, I knock it back
down
one way or another. I haven't managed to get it down to where I want it
to
be, though.

I went back to WW meetings February, lost 14 pounds, putting me at 136,
stalled, then started futzing around with it. I just went back, on-line
membership only, but am doing a pretty haphazard job of it. My ideal goal
weight would be 116 (I am very short), but I would probably settle for
120.

My husband and I are empty-nesters, which simplifies meal time a bit,
though
the poor man knows he can expect good dinners when the kids are visiting.

My name is Karen. I have been maintaining since 2006. This summer
has been more of a challenge for me and the weight has been creeping
up again. I started weight watchers years ago weighing 160. I am
petite- 5 foot 2 inches. On the plan I got down to 117 but this
summer I have gone all the way up to 127 which is actually where I set
my goal weight. If the weight goes up 2 more pounds I have to start
paying again for meetings so I need to regroup and get serious about
this.
I am 51 almost 52. Been married to DH for 34 years, have two sons,
both grown and on their own now.

I'm 52, and have also been doing WW for six years or so...

Start weight: 213
Best weight: 143
Goal: 140
current: 166

I live with my DH, one son (almost 15) and two cats, and I am
self-employed as a dress and costume maker, and a teacher.

My exercise of choice is swimming. I try to go 3 times a week and do a
