"A french fry is worse than a cigarette" for your health

go to this page http://www.mercola.com/2001/feb/7/french_fries.htm and
scroll down to the conclusion ... Dr. Mercola thinks a french fry is
worse than a cigarette. I couldn't agree more ... trans fat is very
very toxic!!

How many french fries are there in McDonalds' largest order? Now
imagine smoking that many cigarettes within 20 minutes ...

You are an idiot. I hope you do go smoke that many cigarettes and die of
lung cancer.

Excuse me? Who's the idiot here? What Andrew says is true. He didn't make it
up.
There are hundreds of avoidable toxins that we are subjected to every day in
every area of our lives. If there were a way to improve you health and your
family's health by simply avoiding them, wouldn't you do it? Since you're an
idiot.....probably not.

Well, then, would you say that McD's french fries contain toxins that
regular home cooked fries would not have?

Beats me....I wouldn't eat french fries made at home either. Maybe baked
ones but then they wouldn't be french fries would they?
There's a much bigger picture here than just french fries. The air we
breathe, the water that comes out of our taps, the processed to death food
most of us eat, the phalates in a lot of the plastics out there, personal
care products and cosmetics that are loaded with toxic ingredients, toxic
building materials, carpeting etc. There are alternative things we can use
instead for most of these things. The air we breathe might be a toughie
except in your own home, but the rest have safer alternatives. It's a choice
people can make.

French fries are always 100% bad ... at home of course you could fry
them in stable coconut oil ...

Indeed...a choice to live in great fear with possible real or imagined
dangers everywhere or to live joyfully as the best fed, most prosperous,
longest lived, healthiest people in the worlds history......aren't choices
great? Rod

I'm not trying to be mean, but I think you need some therapy. It must
be a daunting existance to have to worry about every possible thing
that could have a negative impact, no matter how trivial.

tkb, who's off to her much needed therapy appointment. ;-)

We still manage to have a much longer life expectancy than our ancestors who
didn't have those things. Are you aware that people who still live a
primitive lifestyle (such as tribespeople in remote areas) without any of
those 'hazards' don't live much longer than 40?

Obsessing about all the things that can be bad for you is a lot more
unhealthy than smoking & eating fries. We're still going to die, regardless
of how much we avoid all those 'hazards' around us, so we might as well
enjoy our time here instead of living in constant fear.

Would that be a cigarette with ketchup?
