Kimkins -- Again

There was a pretty good segment on Kimkins on one of the morning shows
this morning -- if you're still following the circus at LCF, you
already know that.

I tried to read some of the posts over there myself to answer this
question, but it was too much. I must have found dozens of posts
referring to the fact that the KK site says SingingLass lost 101
pounds in a week. Well, of course that's not right. It's really hard
to take anyone seriously who jumps up and down and screams about an
obvious error being significant in any way to the argument. I'm
beginning to wonder if even half of those people are over the age of
twelve.

From some of the comments, I can't help but wonder if I saw the same
show they did.

Anyway --

They advertised that they were going to have a dietician and a doctor
on to talk about how dangerous it is. I wondered at that time if
these would be "pro-LC" professionals or "anti-LC" professionals.
Turns out, they're definitely "anti-LC" professionals, so while the
crusaders are high-fiving each other about how the dietician and the
doctor trashed the KK plan --

Does anyone who is actually able to keep up even a little bit know if
any of them realized that neither of these people would support LC --
probably, in *any* form at all -- even though *that's* the kind of
plan most of them claim to follow?

As a matter of fact, the doctor said ketosis is life-threatening and
the dietician said that our bodies need carbs.

Yeah, you'd think they could address the fact that starvation isn't a
good thing without that nonsense.

There's a great soap opera update! Kimmer has posted a HUGE confession
on her site that she's been full of **** all along, lying and faking
pictures and such: http://www.kimkins.com/content/view/1079/142/

Wow. So, lemme get this straight.
1- I lied about who I am because of California's Foster Kids laws, but
no one had to know you had foster kids until you told it out there.
Just
say "kids" and you're cool with California, right?

2- I never lost 198 lbs. But I did lose half of that in about half
time time
I claimed. So, I was half truthful. Nevermind that 100 lbs in 6 months
is
really a better ad than some other number in a longer time frame. It's
nice and round. And whose gonna say, "Only 100 lbs" or "What about
the next hundred" or "What happened in month 7" or "Why not in
five months?"

3- I regained the weight. But I was so ashamed that I covered it up.
With
a photo of a mail order bride. Who didn't really look like me. To
protect
my foster family. And my shyness.

4- I also lost contact with eveyone who had succeeded on the diet
before,
when I skipped from LCF (or whereever) and NONE of them would share
their photos with me after the breakup. So, I figured if Russian
Brides
were good enough for me, they're good enough for some composite
stories of the people who wouldn't let me use their picture anymore.

Not addressed are the three chicks who dumped her and her diet and
are saying all kinds of nasty stuff about her.

I guess it's a mea culpa in the shallowest sense. The kind that maybe
gets you away from prosecution, but doesn't save you from an
unpleasant
afterlife (if you believe in such things... I don't).

It is probably good enough for a "Kimer". Remember what they have put
up with already.

I thought that was a Bill Clinton: "Mistakes were made, but we're moving
on now; all you people who won't move on before all the evidence is even
gathered are just obsessive cranks. Move on already." Or maybe now
that's called a Bill Belichick.

Proof that rapid loss on an extreme diet just results in failure and yo-yo
dieting. She is her own worst enemy. Any who continue to follow are are
indeed foolish.

Three?

I know of two -- Christin and Deni -- that are very public and
appeared on the show. Other than that, there are dozens (hundreds?)
who have washed their hands of her -- and are quite vocal about it.

I guess it's a mea culpa in the shallowest sense. The kind that maybe

Yeah -- you got it straight.

She's quite a piece of work and her "confession" has a ring of
professional PR about it. One wonders what would have happened if
she'd sought that kind of professional assistance earlier. She really
would make an interesting psychological study.

But I think the mob at LCF would, too. They are dedicated -- and have
single vision lenses. Many's the time some have been told, "Boy! I
sure wouldn't want to have you get made at ME!" But I know one thing
for sure -- there's not a one of 'em that I'd want as a friend.
