Any idiot can ratchet up the obnoxiousness. Add your flung poo to the
endless pool of poo flinging of morons with internet connections
worldwide. Do you think anyone will take you seriously that way? If
so, you've got another think coming.

However, if you really want to impress people, make them listen to
your point of view. You hate the Atkins diet, tell me why. State it
rationally, back it up with objective facts, debunk with real data and
I will listen (can't promise anyone else will, but you'll have my
ear). I won't promise not to rebut with my own set of facts, or
counter your debunk with one of my own, but I will listen. I expect
you to do the same.

From your previous posts, I would not have guessed that you do any
style of low carb, and are against all versions of it, hence my
comment in the first place. Frankly, you haven't made a very good
first impression, and I don't much patience for people who have an
exceptionally high noise to signal ratio. So far your noise ratio has
been awfully high.

If you are really are low carbing, great! By all means, hail, and
well met. Welcome to alt.support.diet.low-carb. There are some very
clever, and inventive cooks here, you can pick up some good recipes.
You may have something to say about your experience that will be
valuable to other diabetics. You may learn from them, too. You don't
agree with me on low carb style. So what? You won't find me arguing
with you over what you do, and I hope the reverse will be true. (If
not, then who's the extremist?) I don't care what you do, if it
works. As far as I'm concerned, there's no reason to be infighting
about low carb diets, they're all pretty similiar. Just don't bring
up that wacko blood type/diet type theory. ;-)

As for me, I'm a firm believer in not becoming diabetic (runs in the
family), and in losing weight until I reach a reasonalbe weight for my
height. Atkins is my best bet for that, for now. If there comes a
day when my bloodwork goes haywire, then my doctor and I will move on
to something else. Right now that day is not here, so I'm not going
to worry about it. If that makes me a cultist, then you've never met
anyone in a real cult.

LMAO!

By the way I manage a business where cutomer service is everything (a
hotel); we do all we can to please our guests. The hotel I manage is a
rather upscale brand, and we maintain certain brand standards.
Occassionally someone will come in who is obviously not in the right hotel
for their needs. If they cannot be satisfied with the product that pleases
99.9999% of our customers, sometimes we suggest that they might be happier
at the Best Value Inn across the street.

I bet that they threw a party at that grocery store after Normie was out the
door, and sang a nice loud chorus of "Thank God And Greyhound You're Gone!"
Why would they worry about his $20 when for every dollar bill he didn't
spend, ten more were spent by those attracted by the Atkins product sign?

The store can get new customers, but Normie will always be an asshole.
Who's the winner, and who's the loser?

You people are a complete joke.
How much more proof do you want? I posted enough to make a normal

Only for the stupid ones like yourself.

Nothing will convince you people. It's part of the mental illness
that you developed when you went on the diet.

Yes refute our "quack" doctor with your Quack Doctor.
The fact that the American Medical Association is against Neal Barnard
doesn't interfere with your quest against Atkins for setting your
ex-wife free from you.

You worship a dead doctor who died from his own diet.

ANd with nothing worth saying he just repeats himself like a toy. Pull
his chain. "Atkins is a quack"

This time worship a living one who knows what he's saying and isn't
out to kill you for the sake of his own wealth.

Do you ever wonder if God hates you for making your life so miserable?

No, for the sake of his pride. I don't worship doctors. They're all
human. Unlike you.

Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine isn't a committee, nor is
it made up of only nor even primarily physicians, nor is is responsible
medicine-- it's an official sounding front for PETA/vegans. Since
you're so fond of authority here's one you might listen to--the AMA says
they're quacks.

Brainwashing, and low carb diets (Long post)

I can't believe there are still people out here bashing the Atkins way
of life. Yes, it may not be for everyone. But that would be your own
MEDICAL condition that would make it not for you. I have seen to many
people and have talked to my three different doctors about Atkins. I
have lost 35 pounds and my 13 year old son has lost 28 pounds. We have
consulted our doctors every step of the way. If you do not have the
will power or if you have not reached the "this is enough" stage in
your own weight struggle that is your demon, but lay off of the people
who have made changes, responsible changes in their own life. I am
proud to say that I am on atkins, my son is on atkins and my other
tall and skinny son is also eating what we eat and all of us are
healthier, happier and we look marvelous!!!

You sound alot like me. I too have a son that is tall and skinny. He now eats
like the rest of us. The other boys too have lost some weight.

It is a great and marvelous feeling to make so many great changes!

:)

One cite from a PETA fanatic? Just one cite from a man with an
obvious agenda? Is that all you've got!?! You'll have to do a whole
lot better than that, bucko.

You worship a dead doctor who died from his own diet.

Never have, never will. Doctors are only human beings, some have
better theories than others, but they're just people.

This time worship a living one who knows what he's saying and isn't

I don't worship a dead doctor, and I certainly won't worship a living
one, let alone a living one with rectal cranial inversion.
