Exercising Again -- FINALLY!

I was sick for nearly three weeks and was unable to exercise since the day after
Labor Day (SUPER fatigued). About 3 days ago I started slowly using my bike
again (10 min, then 15 min) and did one set of weight training exercises a couple
of days ago. Yesterday I used my Ab-Doer Today I was able to do 30 minutes on
the bike, 50-100 reps of each exercise on the Ab-Doer and one set of each
exercise of weight training (using a Body by Jake Total Body Trainer). FINALLY!
About a 1/2 hour afterward I realized that I had, once again, achieved that GREAT
feeling where I automatically stand up straighter (because the back and abdominal
muscles are getting stronger), and I feel WAAY more flexible and just generally
GOOD. I REALLY missed that! GAWD I hope I don't get sick again!

Good for you!! I hope you don't get sick again either, getting sick sucks.
By the way, lookout or tucatz will start berating you for taking time off
from exercising.

That's fantastic that you were feeling much better and able to
exercise !
Careful not to overdo it after being down that long a period. :)

I know what you mean about the great feeling though..
Exercise can make you feel 'pumped' .

Here's hoping from me to you.. that you don't get sick again either.

Have fun with it.

Okay, I have a question about the Ab-Doer thingey... which model do you
have and where did you buy it? I just looked on Ebay and the prices seem
to vary widely. Your pictures are inspirational :)

Thanks! It's an Ab-Doer II. I'm not sure where I bought it, but I think it was
either Target or Walgreens -- I remember it was $99. They later went on sale for
only $49 (natch). That was about 1.5-2 years ago, though. I only used it
sporadically until the last 2-3 months, though -- wish I had started using it
regularly sooner! It's GREAT for helping to strenghten the back and abs and to
give support while doing exercises that can otherwise be scary and difficult for
someone with back problems.
