Whoosh Fairy visit
Despite the couple spoonfuls of tiramisu earlier this week (and to those
of you rolling your eyes at that despite, I believe, personally, that as long as you don't get cravings and go overboard, while it's not a good idea on a regular basis, in some situations it's best to do it, and not worry) I have awakened this a.m. at 272. That's right. 272. A new low. 347/272/??? Since 8/5/02 -- Nancy Howells (don't forget to switch it, and replace the ;) to send mail). |

Fanaticism is not good. It's about eating good food in the staple diet, and then consider the other stuff "social food", e.g. like alcohol is most often considered a social drink. Something to enjoy every once in a while e.g. at a party/celebration. It's what you do every day that makes changes to the body, not what you do one day. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------- Michael Nielsen M.Sc.EE Music: http://mp3.com/archon2 Website: http://www.archonia.dk |

It is important to get a way of eating that is going to work for you and is going to result in a downward trend. I am not fanatical about what I eat, but try to stay on the straight and narrow whenever possible. Having said that, I went out to a pasta restaurant last night (family dinner and the restaurant was not up to me) I ate a chicken scallopini dish - ate all the poultry and sauce but only one-half the pasta. I consider that a success. Yes, I could have had just salad, but I would have felt deprived and probably sabotauged myself later. This way, I got a bit of a treat (for me) but still went away feeling good. Up a pound today, but no big deal, I'll get rid of it soon. Brenda W 205/151/140 March 23, 2003 |
