WEIGHT WATCHER E-TOOLS

hI: Is it worth getting E-Tools.......I know I can try it for two weeks
free, but I have to give them my visa card and my husband doesn't want me to
put my visa card on the Net, etc. etc.

Is is reallly worth it.......what's it all about.

Tell your husband every time you give your credit card to the wait
person and
they take it to the register, is the same as having it online. I am
certain
that, an International company like Weight Watcher's has a secure
server.

Make sure you always check your statements and save your receipts and
check them
against the charges on the bill. I cannot tell you how many errors we
find by
people "accidentally" double billing or other things.

Credit cards on the Internet are as safe as it is to hand it to the
person who
is serving your food at the restaurant.

Bourne

I have safely used my credit cards for many purchases on the Net. I
agree with Bourne that you can have credit card fraud as easily done by
the person at the gas station, grocery store, restaurant. I haven't
used E Tools but my friends who use it like it a lot. It's good if you
aren't able or don't wish to attend meetings on a regular basis.

I use it and love it as it allows me to journal more accurately, I use a
debit card so that there is a defined risk, this account is especially for
net type items, Lee

I was trying to decide to do e-meetings or actually GO to the meeting.
Are
there any statistics of success with the e-tools vs. live meetings?
Also, would
I buy a special scale? I really need to get control of my eating. Not
just for
weight loss, but for health. I am vegetarian and I am positive I am
not getting
enough protein. I do eat eggs, and dairy, soy, but I need to have
much more
direction.

Anyone else a vegetarian/vegan on Weight Watchers?

I have a Salter scale to weigh food. Lots of people have WW scales. If
you are talking about a scale to weigh yourself there are many good
ones. IMO you are more accountable if you attend live meetings but a
lot of people just don't have the time or desire to be with other
people. Groups like this one are really good to keep you motivated,
give you encouragement and tips for dining, recipes etc. My daughter is
not strictly vegetarian but eats a lot of vegetarian meals. Look for
dishes with lentils and legumes.

the scales DH got me has been a great tool to my losing weight. I eat meat
but do not like it, One of my issues was not getting enough protein, I know
it is a struggle, I think I heard my leader say the losing statistics were
about the same as different types go for the different ways to do WW, good
luck and welcome, Lee

I need the meetings, which is odd as I am not generally a joiner, good luck,

Thanks, Audrey. I have a very good digital food scale which was hundreds

of
dollars. It weighs down to grams. I have a parrot I have to weigh!

I meant a scale for me, but I am going to a meeting tomorrow morning and

will
see what is what. I have had it with this body and feeling tired all the

time
and I really need a life change.

Thanks again for the reply.

I will never be able to leave meat out altogether it makes me ill after a
time, I would never choose meat as taste, except for bacon. I do try and
combine legumes and grains and use dairy so that I can eat as little as
possible, best of luck to you Lee

It's a myth we don't get enough protein. There are many articles and

facts
around this one thing, and only vegans need to combine legumes with whole

grains
in order to get the whole protein. I am lacto/ovo, which means I eat

dairy and
cheese. I am working on being vegan, but it does take time to adjust to

it.
