Well, being on track and consistent for a full week really paid off at
the scale this morning, as I discovered a loss of ... (drum roll
please grin) .... 4 pounds! Hooray!!!

But the truth is, it wasn't magic, just good old-fashioned will power,
combined with the fact that I am at a fairly high weight for myself,
so the first pounds come off a bit more easily. Never-the-less, I am
thrilled! Definitely a good motivation to get week #2 off to a great
start. :-)

Very busy with work (I'm putting in a couple of hours in our home
office this evening), so no time to chat or even answer posts and
emails right now. But I didn't want this day to pass without
"officially" checking in. Until next time (and hoping I can get
through a very hectic week, without going into the details),
