The common belief that carbohydrates in the diet lead to higher insulin levels, higher blood glucose levels and more diabetes was also not confirmed. There was no such effect among the women eating low-fat diets. Any comments on that? It is what we observe... .... when folks stay lean and trim (i.e. no metabolic syndrome), no diet causes diabetes. Oddly enough, too many refined carbs leads to NOT being lean and trim AND diabetes T2. But why are we asking a board certified quack cardiologist about diabetes? He is barely qualified to be called a cardiologis, never mind an endocrinologist. My 14 year old kid knows more about diet than chung the quack. TC |

You have a good point, Chung is Quackers. My 14 year old kid knows more about diet than chung the quack. OTOH, the fact that you may be giving your son nutrition guidance, scares the **** out of me as much as Chung. -DF |

TC I did not think so, you friggin' quack. You should be barred from practising medicine for trying to make money by selling an unproven and possibly dangerous weight loss plan. I think it is time that someone takes the initiative and reports you to the AMA. TC |
