At the football game
 

I went to the Cowboys/Redskins game yesterday with a friend. We sat behind a
man who was so fat that he took half of his daughter's chair space and half
of his wife's. His head had a wrinkle in the back where the hair bulged out
and then back in toward his shoulders. I really don't know how he wedged
himself into that chair!

On my right was also an overweight man--although not quite as fat as the
first guy. This one kept getting up and bringing back more food. During the
game, he had 2 beers, a plate of nachos, a pizza, and a sausage on a stick.

Me? I snacked on the string cheese that I had brought with me....It wasn't
hard to keep away from all that food (and only partly because of the
prices!) A bottle of water was $3 and the little pizza was $7.

It was a good game, though, with a satisfactory ending.

These folks are all over America, you only have to open your eyes. It's a
real tragedy.

I saw the game on TV. The TV was a normal size, not really obese.

Good game! :) I guess some others didn't like the outcome. LOL!

Both teams were really, really bad! If you wanted good football, that was
not the game to watch. I was up and down emotionally the entire time. There
was a particularly offensive Redskins supporter about 7 rows below me who
was dancing and making obscene hand gestures every time his team did
anything (such as run the ball 4 yards or tackle a Cowboys runner). When
that last touchdown became a reality, he just sank into his chair with his
hands over his face. I hafta tellya, that was the icing on the cake!

It's kind of odd but after a while "stadium food" doesn't even *smell*
good to me anymore! Well, the Goodberry's Hockey Pucks (ice cream)
still look good to me but I am sure not to carry enough money for that
if I am on the concourse ;-)

Where you go, do they sell beer in glass bottles? They do in Dallas. I
wondered about that. I think they cost about $6 apiece. And, what are those
things in the long hourglass-shaped plastic things that are about a foot
tall and come with a straw? They look as if they are crushed ice with
various colors, but what is the flavor?

No. They sell beer in plastic cups for pro events (hockey) and no beer
at all for college games (football/basketball)

They do in Dallas. I
