Nice summary of what Atkins and others ahve been stating for decades.
Gradually the word gets out.

Interesting variation that polyunsaturates aren't all that good. Is
this a variation on the good fats bad fats theory or progress based on
extensive research?

Progress on research, I've been seeing more and more on this issue. It has
a lot to do with Omega 6 vs. 3.

The good Drs Eades reversed their stance on polyunsaturates between the
first edition of Protein Power and later editions in their series of
books. I've also been reading debate about EFAs on sci.life-extension.

At this point I think the conclusions are changing fast enough that I
think the science is immature. They may change a couple of times befor
ethey stabilize.

What to eat gets more complicated all the time. Basic low carb is easy but
there is a lot of activity on micro nutrition.
