ephedra was the only one that ever did anything for me - in my personal
opinion, pills will not make a big enough difference to be worth the cost,
and the bottom line is still that you have to eat less and exercise more.

None of them. What works to make you healthy and control
weight, prevent diabetes and some other illnesses, is
regular exercise (30-60 minutes a day) and eating a variety
of high fiber, low fat foods.

What diet pills work?
 

Xenical, prescription only, may prevent diabetes in the obese. It has
side effects - but if you can stand it for a month it you may be able
to tolerate it. I don't use it, but if I were more than 40 lbs
overweight I might consider it. See
