French fried fauxtatoes & easy cheese "chips" recipe
Has anyone ever tried fried fauxtatoes? Can you just mash (or food
process) the cauliflower and then deep fry? Any suggestions or tips would be appreciated. Also.. if you ever have a craving for cheese flavored chips try this: Spread some cheddar cheese on parchment paper on a plate and microwave on high for about 3 minutes (until it starts getting brown.) Drain off oil and let stand until cool (about 3 or 4 minutes.) Break off a piece and taste. It will be crunchy and chees flavored (obviously). Very yummy. -- Jim 231/194?/197 Atkins since 22 May '03 Gym since 1 sept '03 |
