Diet for a sportman
Hello dear members of the alt.support.diet. I'm a 27 years old man with a few extra pounds I want to lose over the next months. I've started with aerobic sport training (basketball) and anaerobic also (body building) and I would like You to provide me with a diet please.

Just keep on with the exercise permanently because if you have just started exercise, you haven't seen the benefits yet.

Diet for a sportman
Protein is especially necessary before and once a workout session. you'll have a protein shake with fruits like berries and apples for a flavorful post-workout meal. you'll even have protein bars. These bars also are terribly convenient thanks to supplement your protein desires.

Losing weight may not be the most convenient thing in general, so the solutions to it are not always convenient either. It's hard work, after all. Despite all the nice pills and supplements and what have you, you need discipline, and workout is definitely a good start!

Gaining weight requires a surplus of calories as well as a good weight lifting program.
Try hitting these macros below. Eat 1 gram per body weight in protein Eat 4 times your body weight in carbs Eat 1/2 your body weight in fat grams If you're still not gaining weight, up the macros. You have to make eating a priority especially since you're probably a hard gainer aka ectomorph. You also should lift weights b/c you just don't want to gain belly fat. Compound lifts from free weights is a good starting point. Compound lifts include bench press, dips, pulls ups, push ups, dead lifts, squats, lunges etc. Lean muscle will go a long way. |
