Day 8 - Still Sick - 206lbs.
I went to the Doctor on the 16th and was told that I was anemic due to blood
loss. I have been diagnosed with Diverticular disease. I won't go into all the gross details, but I will say it doesn't cause me any pain. So, I guessing that having this cold, being anemic, and not sleeping is probably the reason I'm so tired. (I have slept about 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours a night for the last 2 weeks. ) Still exercising and dieting, but the weight is staying between 205 and 207. I am worked out on my Gazelle for 30 min. on Mon. On Tue. I worked out 15 min. on the Gazelle and followed the DVD routine for the Ab Lounge. I will do 30 min. on the Gazelle today and the Ab routine. I'm not getting as sore as I did, so I'm going to try and do a little more. I want to get up to doing at least an hour of exercise a day. I know I said day 8, but that is how long I have been keeping up with it on here. Good luck in everything you do today! 244/206/145 |

Sorry about the blood loss -- I'm glad they discovered your problem. About 5 months ago I started bleeding one night from an ulcer and didn't know what the heck was going on, other than I started passing what looked like coffee grounds. A lot of that. In the morning I was quit dizzy and I had my wife drive me to the drug store where I got a blood detection kit - you throw these little paper indicator into the toilet and it turns blue if you're passing blood. Mine lit up like crazy. (I had been taking Advil for a sore knee and that evidently led to the bleeding ulcer.) I'm fine now, after taking Acifex for two months to heal the stomach lining. Jeez, I thought as an old fart I'd be immune to such surprises! But mine is solved and I know yours will be too! In the meantime, keep up the excellent progress! In a month, you're going to be a month older! And thank goodness, you're going to be a month healthier too! Yours truly, Caleb 265/237/200 |
