I'm a 56 year old male, 6"2'2" and about 208 lbs.

I work out 6 days a week ( 4 days 1 hr aerobic, 2 days 1 hr,. weights,
and 30 minutes of aerobic training.

I work from home so a lot of the rest of the day isnvolves sitting at
my desk or waklking around the house.


I have seen various caloric calculators which claim to tell you what
your daily caloric requirements are but they have huge variations. Can
anyone give me a "general" idea of what mine might be?

any calculator is going to give you an estimate...a "general" idea. you
have to take what it gives you and make slight adjustments. for
instance, if you try this, and you lose 1 pound in a week, it's about 500
calories too low. if you try it and you gain 1 lb in a week, its about
500 calories too high.
