Yup, not much else for her to do other than hang around. G You don't know how
much I envy you your 50+ temps. Yesterday and today were -10 when daughter left
for school - and that is without windchills. They were predicting a high of 5
today, probably hit it somewhere but certainly not my town. I think we may have
made it to 2F. It's cold, cold, cold! The roads are horrid, yet we haven't had
much snow. We had a lot of light flurries ... salt dumped quickly to melt the
mess. Problem was that the bottom dropped out of the temps, thus freezing the
melted goop, and the flurries kept coming down on top of the frozen stuff. Makes
for some rather messy and dangerous traveling. I decided to just stay home
yesterday, but sonny boy had to make the trek home from school ... said it was NOT
fun. Roads were better today, had to venture out to the dr. with the hub.

I'm hoping spring will be here soon. February is right around the corner! G

Ah, better discipline. I would have had a skinny cow but I was
exhausted and actually went to bed. Now doubly exhausted having
returned from an 11 mile ski trip - GREAT snow - yeah, I'm sure you've
never heard such comments regarding snow (G)

LOL! Not around here anyway. I do hear people moaning about not having any snow,
can't wait for the first one. They are always the same ones who also moan when we
get the second snow ... saying enough is enough. Some people are never happy. G

Apple rings again at my side, although I have more than enough points for several
servings of meringues. Am just not hungry at all today. And dinner was
fantastic! We ordered carryout from a local place, was one of those hectic days
(daughter finally gave birth to our newest granddaughter). I ordered grilled
salmon with a smidge of teriyaki sauce. It came with grilled veggies (which was
yellow squash, zuchini, peppers and onions) rice and salad ... I skipped over the
rice. So very filling dinner, not overly heavy pointwise - considering lunch was
scrambled eggbeaters with tons of veggies, and a big bowl of cut of fresh fruit.
I did think about the skinny cow earlier this evening, but it really didn't
interest me. It is wierd how I get sometimes.
