I was reading in a magazine I subscribe to, that some woman
from England, who had just moved to the states, wrote the
editor and complained about the large serving sizes here in
America, and asked the editor if she didn't feel this was
partly responsible for the increasing obesity in America. The
editor posted several letters in the next issue from American
housewives who were enraged at this. You would think this
woman had attacked the flag, when all she'd done is ask why
our portion sizes are so huge here. She'd been wanting to
know if they could do at least some recipes in "normal"
serving sizes.

The serving sizes can always be determined by the cook by
adjusting the recipe ingredent amounts. This lady is probably
some whacked-out type that doesn't know how to scale a
recipe.
