Thanksgiving - Work of the Devil

We have a huge Thanksgiving Day celebration every year. My family is half
Jewish and half Catholic so T-day is our big get together. I am fortunate
in that I don't like much of the food (who puts grapes in Noodle Pudding and
why is Noodle Pudding served at Thanksgiving???).
Kugel. I usually see raisins in it. Grapes don't seem like such a
stretch. It's a reasonable holiday food if you are of Jewish heritage,
IMO.
When I am questioned
about my lack of food, I always state that I attend for the company and
really appreciate the opportunity to be with my family! No one argues.
They all feel special that I came to see them.
That's a nice point.
