i would bring a cooler - is that possible? then you could bring cheese
sticks, and a bunch of other things. I would buy things as you go- you
aren't locked into the car! you should bring some non-perishables then stop
along the way.

That's probably the best idea, with all my trip planning, it never occured to
me that I didn't have to bring it all with me duh!
My concern is that I'll have no place to refreeze the ice packs for the cooler
and I'm not too crazy about having real ice in the car. Hmmm...maybe ice in zip
lock bags could work - does anyone have any experience with that? I want to
avoid leaks in my brandy-new car!
