While variety in kids' lunches is indeed a good thing, peanut butter can
either be healthy or not, depending on what one associates with the
phrase "peanut butter" ;-)
If one thinks "That brown stuff that is mostly crisco and sugar and salt
with a few peanuts in it", then indeed, motor oil would even be a
healthier filling grin
But if it is just the plain (erm, "real"
kind of peanut butter that I
grew up with, the stuff that really does indeed contain a single
ingredient: peanuts, then it's no worse than having a handful of
peanuts. (Unless of course, one is allergic).
