Has anyone tried the "Atkins Approved" Carb Countdown Lowfat Yogurt
Smoothie made by Hood? Are they OK for Induction? Most of the Atkins
approved things say on them that they are not appropriate for the
Induction Phase. These smoothies dont say that. It lists 3g of Net
Carbs. I am on Day 8 of induction and I have been sticking to real
foods (meat, cheese, salad etc). I dont want to blow my progress by
drinking one of these but they sure so look appealing.

I've tried 2 flavors...peach and strawberry banana. Very good, altho' a
bit sweet. Very, very pricey, however. I make my own now. Personally,
I'd wait 'til after induction but if your will power won't allow that,
make sure to figure those carbs into your daily allotment.

I agree with Sue, having one occasionally on induction is probably OK.
They aren't loaded with sugar alcohols or anything else that is
suspect. Like Sue said, they are very expensive though, $2 for a
small serving. If they priced them more reasonably, I'd buy them
regularly as they are very good.
