If you're not losing weight, you're eating too much. This is a truism. Drop
your carbs down to 20g a day or less and lower your overall calories until
you're losing weight at a reasonable rate. The benefit of exercise in
conjunction with this diet cannot be overstated.

Lyle MacDonald is the author of a few books, including "The Ketogenic Diet".
It's highly technical, but worth reading.
