More Alkaline body states promote healing and elimination of cellular

This is respected among alternative therapy experts, but not entirely
supported by one-sided medical experts.

I couldn't find much about this in human studies (some rat studies) but
I did find this article
(
http://www3.utsouthwestern.edu/libra.../dietRisks.htm) which
states that low-carb diets increase the acid levels in blood. I just
found that to be interesting (not that this one study means much in the
scheme of things but I did find it to be halfway interesting)

Also, I didn't realize that there was such a thing as alkaline reflux.
hmmm.

So is the Alkaline diet supposed to be more macrobiotic?

No. The foundation of Macrobiotic is to eat cooked grains and to only
eat foods grown within your locality (ie-no tropical Hawaiian papaya
when you live in frigid New York]

Some whole grains are acid forming, so you don't eat them on this
diet.

The alkaline diet isn't for the person casually looking to take off
bothersome weight. It's a lifestyle that more resembles a refined
Vegan diet.

Hey BJG.... How's this going for you? How long doing it?
