Is Addiction possible
Hi Blue!
Diets don't work...they are temporary and ultimately set us up for
failure. I would start with something like Weight Watchers. I don't use
them, but I hear they do really good things for people just starting
out.
They can help you set up an eating plan and a new WOE (way of eating).
Rather than think of it as a diet, think of it as a Lifestyle Change".
I had to do that. I had to think of how I wanted to live and eat for
the rest of my life. I can never go back to bingeing or picking the
kinds of foods that will harm me rather than help me.

Here's my delema. I feel burned out with diets. It seems like I'll
never succeed. I am 61 and feel because of the pain I'm having, that
there isn't anything else I can do. Whats frustrating is the more pain
I have, the more I eat. It could be that it is the food irrating it,
Don't know yet. I'm not feeling sorry for myself, just feel like I
can't get through a day without eating too much. We are talking lots of
weight here. I am 232 pounds. Where do I start. The weight might be the
problem I can't stand, yet I eat, knowing this. Anybody got any
suggestions where to start?
