Default Fifth weigh-in

Congratulations! You are doing an excellent job (60+ pounds in 2 1/2
monthes is an amazing weight loss!) Is exercise your primary means of
losing weight? I appreciate your post as it has given me the
inspiration to really throw myself into my fitness routine (I went
yesterday for the first time in about 7 monthes and it was tough!*l*)

Thanks. I'm (not religiously) following the "warrior diet", although by
coincidence rather than a deliberate action. Basically, I do all my
eating on one go in the evening. I was calorie counting for the first 6
or 7 weeks, now I don't (I still estimate but I'm not fanatical - I've
got the hang of it IYSWIM) and I'm still losing weight at the same
weight. I try to exercise as much as I eat for maybe half the week. I
have the odd day without a calorific deficit (when considering basal
metabolic rate) but I rarely hit more than 2000 calories exercise, but
1000 isn't unusual and less than 300 is rare. Also, most of my exercise
is sustained high intensity (eg exercise bike on highest setting for
30-60 minutes - my partner can't even turn the peddles on this setting)

But I can certainly say, I feel hugely better on days when I've had a
run - I feel lighter, fitter and more confident. If, after your
exercise, you know you could have done a bit more, then do more the
next time - that's my philosophy.

Best of luck
