Are you talking about the sphynx variety? Did you know that this cat
originated in Canada. I did a search for it last night and apparently

there
was a hairless cat born in Canada in the 60's. They began interbreeding

it
and that's how the sphynx cat originated. They're kind of ugly. I think
I'd prefer a cat with hair!

You could also get one of those totally bald varieties! (G)

I am the house cleaner around here, so short hair would be better I

Never thought of the allergic reaction thing, but that's good advice.
Thanks.

you could convince him that blue is good, like Russian blue, there

are
a
bunch that color that are not necessarily pedigreed, and there are

lilac
and
blue point Siamese, never saw anything close to green though, and oh

yeah,
if you are the one who cleans at your house, you want shorter hair,

also
since he is so small let him play with different types of hair to see

if
you
get any sort of immediate allergic reaction, all cat is not created
equally
good luck, Lee, cat crazy, can you tell???

The only thing to argue about now is whether it should have long

hair
or
short! DH likes short haired cats. Nicholas doesn't care about

long
or
short hair, just figures he needs to have one with green hair and

one
with
purple hair. Tried to convince him that we wouldn't be able to

find
cats
with green and purple hair, but he doesn't believe us. I wonder

what
his
reaction will be tomorrow when they are everything but.

You will Brenda. For now give yourself a break. You

deserve
to
enjoy
some time
relaxing with your family. When you're ready, it will

all
fall
right
back
into
place again

I sure hope so. In the meantime I'm trying to make the

best
food
choices
I
can, get some exercise, and enjoy my time with DH and

Nicholas.
The
three
of us are going to Vancouver on Monday, DH has a dr.

appointment
and
then
we
are going to see about getting Nicholas a kitten! We don't

do
many
family
outings lately, so this will be a fun day.

Sounds like you are taking a wonderfully positive approach

at
this
time -
not much
more you can do than that. Enjoy your family! What you

have
just
gone
through
proves how short life really can be ... it kind of puts

things
into
a
new
and
better perspective.

I am trying to take a positive approach to many things,

difficult
as
that
can be at times. I still worry constantly, but at least now

my
worries
aren't so much about DH and I can concentrate a bit more on
Nicholas
and
our
business until DH is back to work. Fortunately for our sakes,

he
will
hopefully live a long and much healthier life!

And in the grand scheme of things, isn't that what is most
important?
