Greensboro, NC -- A UNCG Economics professor co-authored a study examining
the impact of Walmart Supercenters on people's body weight and obesity.

Clearly the coward who posted this and the subject of the article have
nothing better to do that to count fat people as they shop Wal-Mart.

It simply proves that a college degree does not intelligence make.

Interesting point LV. Now about that defunct Academy International
in Santa Barbara.

It does my heart so much good to know that you stand behind every
piece of crap flying from your fingers. You are a real pile of ...
JELLO!

What a bout it. When do you think I graduated from school anyway? You
are trying to say that because it doesn't exist now, that it never
did. Prove it. YOu either chew your crow up and swallow it or you
choke on it, gossip monger.

You are a liar and a thief.

A liar because what you say isn't true and a thief because you waste
everyone's time being a gossip monger.

You know, the one you claim as your Alma Mater.

I know the one. You are the one with the problem, not me. Academy
International was a small accredited college when I went there.

I graduated in 1984. Where and what were you in 1984? Probably being a
major pain in the ass to your parents and being completely useless. It
sets the pattern for what you have become.

Can you say "Good-for-nothing?" I knew you could.

Your know, the one that operated in that storefront location on State
Street.

Actually they had their own building and even leased space in the
office building across the street.

It may be a storefront now. Santa Barbara has a habit of turning homes
into offices and office buildings into storefronts.

You know, the supposed security training operation that had
absolutely no credible accreditations whatsoever.

You mean the one that had accreditation from the State of California
and a full curriculum from Cal State Long Beach....yes that one. I
remember.

FWIW, I remember Academy International when I was a teenager and was
working nearby.

You may, I cannot prove that you were never in California in 1984 or
that you were a teenager. I can prove you to be a liar.

No, I will not post proof that I DID. You have to prove that I didn't.

Be careful. The libel spies are watching very carefully.

That operation was known as a local joke at the time.

No it wasn't and you are lying again.

" Paz ur monie, gets ur diploma". It *******ized the word Bachelor's
Degree"

Prove it, liar.

Does a degree from such a Diploma Mill make one intelligent or prove
the opposite.

Does an idiot who repeats troll burps anything but an automaton? I
think gossip mongers should have their mouths glued shut. Get your
nourishment through a nasal-gastric tube.

Tell us, Bobbi, did you throw away your GI Bill money with that
scam.

Tell me idiot. What else about me can you regurgitate like the
mindless idiots have tried to before you.

Sharon C

Your mouth is writing checks your butt cannot cash.

Prove it.

Fine. just because they are defunct now does not mean they never
existed.

I don't need to prove myself to you. If you want to discredit me you
are going to have to work a LOT harder.

Try a little truth-it is good for the soul.

LV -- I do not know if you are simply deluding yourself or are
avoiding the truth but the fact that the school is defunct is very
pertinent.

If the school is defunct and has no contact resources such as a phone
number or an email address there are problems that you are looking at
with a blind eye.

Suppose that you list Academy International on a resume as the source
of your Bachelor's Degree. There is no way for the prospective
employer to verify this. They will not know if you had a 2.0 GPA or a
4.0 GPA. For you to tell them or even if you presented your old
copies of your transcripts will not work. Most employers will not
accept your copies of the transcripts. If does not look well for you
if the school simply closed it doors and left town with no point of
contact. No provision for transcripts etc.

The quoted (limited) information on the school was most likely
obtained from the National Schools Data Base. Quite obviously it
contains nothing that will impress a prospective employer and might
even lessen your chances of being hired.

You might be well advisee to never include Academy International on
your resume. Especially if it is true what another poster wrote that
Academy International was a Private for Profit school operating out of
a storefront location.

How long was Academy International in operation before they shut the
doors? Also how could this Private for profit school have a
curriculum from Cal State Long Beach, a Calf State School. That
simply does not appear to be factual.
