slow weight loss but I have gone down in clothing sizes. I am still
sticking with the Atkins book and induction.

Original weight was 210+, now 190 and that fluctuates day-to-day.

I started low carbing the end of May this year.

Hey! Another slow loser! Don't despair. Slow weight loss is
better than weight gain! Also, it's better not to weight every
day. (That's something I need to remind myself of too. Seems
like once a week would be quite sufficient, since my weight,
anyway, seems to dance around quite a bit.)

Welcome to the Slow Loser's Club, (although 20 pounds in 4 months is
not at all slow, actually it's rather fast).

Okay. How about slow relative to some of the folks here?

I'm a charter member, and there wasn't a whole lot of advice collected
yet when I started LC in 1997. It took me 25 months to lose 43 pounds,
which is a whole lot better than taking 25 months to *not* lose 43 pounds.

I agree TOTALLY!

I stalled after losing about 3 or 4 pounds in induction, for nearly 6
months at induction level carbs. I stuck with it because of the other
benefits: huge reduction in arthritis pain, allergy symptoms, skin
problems and digestive problems. I didn't start losing again until I
upped my carbs to around 40g and started watching total calories.

Really? I guess it really is up to each individual to find the
formula that works.
