Lazy -- GREAT FOR YOU!

Excellent restraint and SUPERB PROGRESS!!! Your Miata will be on the
production line soon!

I just came back from seeing Spiderman 2 with my son -- a heck of a
flick!

Actually, I think I'll go out and walk up my little hill later
tonight. It's drizzling a bit here in the Portland, Oregon area, but
we can't let a little drizzle get us down or we wouldn't do much of
anything .

Great going! Excellent numbers!

Yours,

Caleb

Congratulations Caleb. You're on your way. I did 260 cals yesterday, and
today I'll boost that to 860. Heavy rains today, so there is not much going
on outdoors.

Day 6 of 100 Days

Got on my scale just now and the indicator hovered at 236, so no
weight lost last night, but the scale WANTS to go lower.

Had just under 1500 calories yesterday, and also we walked up our
little hill ? enough to get me puffing and panting. So a net calorie
intake yesterday of roughly 1200 calories.

As I go plugging along I am reminded of the phrase: "The perfect is
the enemy of the good." I wish I could be perfect, and maybe I will be
sometime, and 1500 calories is not my goal of 1000 calories, but it's
a heck of a lot closer to it than what I was consuming day in and day
out a month or two ago.

Today I hope to consume fewer calories, will record my time in the
kitchen in the evening, and will think of other things to do with my
time ? including home projects, going out to a movie with my son, etc.
(My wife said we're off to a baseball game tomorrow night and that
sounds like fun.)

I'll exercise this afternoon, going up my little hill. We're going to
have showers here and the temperature promises to be cooler in the
next week or so.

I hope everyone has a great weekend and a great week ahead! I hope
that all of us can be "Good enough for long enough!" and that we will
resist temptations which we know are bad for us!

Yours,

Caleb
