You may be thinking of the film "Sideways" where *the 2 alcholics
praised that particular wine. * Its nice to keep a bottle of wine in
the house and have a glass with lunch but...somehow two glasses taste
better than one and *it goes further and then the day is wasted and I
get indigestion when I drink more than 3 glasses of wine. *I seem to
like it when Im doing it but feel crappy later. *Two or more glasses
of wine change my reflexes and make me sleepy, three or more have a
bad influence on my digestion. * So I don't keep wine in the house
except for special occasions. *I wish it were easier to bring home one
glass of wine. *Its impossible to do that and I feel extremely
uncomfortable in Bars so wine is not part of my cuisine.

Me neither, but I would just drink grape juice if I wanted the
benefits of everything else but the alcohol. In fact, even though the
surgeon general and some others extol the benefits of a little
alcohol, I'm afraid the addicting qualities of it far outweigh any
benefits that are attributed to it. I simply don't drink, period. dkw- Hide quoted text -

Exactly...and that is why I don't drink grape juice either. I just eat
grapes. Same with all fruit. No orange juice for me either. The
problem for me with juices is that you can consume a lot of calories
very quickly and not feel like you've eaten anything. Nutritionists
seem to also recommend eating the fruit rather than juices. There is
one product though that might be beneficial for some and that is the
orange juice with added calcium. Apparently, even though there is a
lot of calcium in milk, it doesn't get absorbed so easily, but does in
the acidic environment of orange juice. Still not enough of a reason
for me to drink the stuff since I don't have any osteoporosis. dkw
