2) measure at the belly-button

This is where I measure. It is also where I wear my pants, except for
jeans. The last time I measured I was at 35". I hope to get down to
around 32"; much lower than that and it becomes difficult to find
pants in my neck of the woods.

The abstract of this study do not show where exactly the measurement
was taken, but your local library may have a copy of the full study
which was published in the March 2005 issue of the American Journal of
Clinical Nutrition.

I do my offcial waist measurement at the thinnest part, which is also
wear my pants go. I am short-waisted, so my belly button is lower.

For my personal mea
I do also measure at my belly button simply because I want to see the
changes everywhere. I call that my belly measurement.

Afaik, women shoudl measure at their narrowest point, i e roughly 7 cms
(almost 3 inches) above the navel. And men should measure at the navel.
That's what I seem to recall. I am surer about the one for women and I
am defnitely sure that men and women should measure at different points.
