Default Is this the way to beat a stall?

I exercise three days a week at a fitness club - 20 minutes on the cross
trainer and fifteen minutes on the treadmill plus warmup and cooldown. I
suppose I can increase the intensity of these workouts, but I sweat plenty
already. Incidently I'm 66!
