Why is it "bombast" when I express a conservative
point of view in a calm and reasoned tone -- but not
when liberals hysterically attack me for it, insult me,
threaten my life, and wish painful death on me simply
for being a Republican?

Perhaps you'd be kind enough to explain that to me.
And please type slowly; you know how dumb we conser-
vatives are. I'm not a philosophically complex person,
so I may need help when it comes to understanding the
sophistry involved.

Why is it "posturing" with me but not with you and
your fellow liberals?

Because George Bush really, really screwed up badly. By doing so, he
put such a massive quantity of political capital into his enemies' bank
account that nothing a conservative can say is listened to, and nothing
a liberal can say is wrong. Content is irrelevant.

Keep your head down, because everything you say just invites abuse. No
matter what you do, you can't win, so don't even bother to play. Bide
your time, husband your resources and don't strike until the moment is
right. Right now, the moment is not right.
