As of tomorrow I will be back on Atkins. I just read a story of an 18
year
old who lost about 100 pounds in five months (if I read the dates and all
correctly) on some atkins site I was at
(http://atkins.com/Archive/2003/7/17-476793.html) and feel pretty dang
inspired right now, since this Christmas is my new goal. I blew my last
goal of losing like mad for my sister's wedding (this fat dude walked his
lard down the isle instead) but I've had about enough of being fat and
with
my sister in a new house they bought I just have some other desires
starting
to rev up and get me going. All in all, I feel that god is guiding me
down
the path he has chosen for me, and every little thing that happens and
what
not is just his way of keeping me on course.

Welcome, Jason ... though, as a lurker here, I am not one to be the welcomer
..... I empathize and can identify with your story about goals made and
deferred .... perhaps we can motivate one another, through this group, to
make and achieve manageable goals. Good luck!
