Default My bike arrives tomorrow!

According to UPS tracking, my new bicycle is coming Monday!

I suppose it might have been here Friday if it had not been a holiday.
My local bike shop says assembly will cost $25. Seems reasonable. If
Lipton did indeed send a $75 check for assembly, I should come out
with enough extra to buy a helmet and bike lock.

I registered on BikeForums.net and also on my local bike clubs site
for help... I'm a little scared, but mostly excited. I think I've
found a couple places that I can practice riding in the flat.

Have fun with your new bike. Do make sure that the bike shop not only
assemble it, but also set it up for you. If you are not accustomed to
riding a bike you will probably start off with the saddle a bit lower, and
move it up later.

Cycling is a major component of my fitness and weight loss program. As I
live in a big city I can use a bike for all my transport needs. In fact the
streets here have so many cars that they move very slowly being close to
gridlocked at busy times, so using a bike is the fastest method of
transport. There's nothing quite as fun as a nice ride in the countryside
to a good pub, where I drink soda. Unfortunately this weekend was cold and
wet with thunderstorms but luckily I'd already had a good ride out on
Thursday evening after work
