With this in mind you can disregard my ffid comment.

Well it is ok if u can let me know about that ... i m curious..

FFID ... pardon my potty mouth english here.. Fat F*ck in denial. It
is a term used to define a person who is in denial over their weight gain
and think that their weight gain is caused by some magical, mythical source.
They think their weight gain is totally unlike anyone else out there. Most
times these people can be stubborn and rude about it here. Generally they
are stupid idiots who are not willing to open their eyes to their lifestyle
and see what exactly is causing the weight gain. I thought you may be one
of those type of people from a couple of your comments at first, but then I
realized that your only problem is a slight miscommunication due to the
language barrier.

I think you get what has been happening to you. You are becoming
complaicent now that you are married and that has been allowing you to eat
more, exercise less and gain a little weight.

I will be surely keeping a note of the food I am consuming every day.
I will also keep a watch at my weight. I will I should consider buying
a weight scale to keep at home. That should do a lot good.

Are there any other suggestions I should consider.

Do you have any way for formal exercise? (running, working out, playing
ball with the friends... something like that). Can you go for a long walk
in the evening with your wife? Something to bring some form of physical
activity that gets your heart rate pounding for an hour at a time, at least
4 days a week.

You probably don't have to buy a scale. Your clothing will certainly be an
indicator to weight gain or loss (if they are too tight, you are eating too
much, if they are loss, you are doing ok).

If you don't see an improvement in weight loss, then eat even less. You
will have to find that point where your food intake and exercise level
matches the calories your body needs in order to maintain your weight.
