Default off balance

As I lose weight, I'm finding I have more back trouble. My lower paunch

fat
seems to be the last to leave, and the balance of my body is off. Just

five
minutes of leaning forward, or half an hour of standing over a table

project
makes my upper to mid back hurt.

I have a very similar problem. I'm very off-balance now that my waist has
shrunk, I've found that I'm very top-heavy. I've recently had far more back
aches - usually they come while I'm at work and there's nothing I can do
about it.

I have found some stretches that really really help with the back pain (they
prevent if, if I can remember to do it each morning)

Lie on the floor on your back. Then make your lower back, where it curves,
bend down to touch the floor. Not sure how to explain this in words.
You can also do it with one knee up, then the other, then both.... hmmm,
maybe I could find some pictures of this online.

Oh, here's one:

And what a yummy guy they chose to take a picture of.
