Yeah, but from what I've been reading on here, it's not just a matter of
having a different kind of corn now, but that corn never did grow in the
wild at all. Like, there never were any wild poodles either, we bred them
from other animals. There are lots of plants that are hybrids and never
existed in the wild, (don't people win awards at flower shows for breeding
new types of flowers?) and apparently corn is one of them.


I was just looking at a corn poster today. (yeah, some people have weird
decorating ideas) It showed all kinds of corn, dating back centuries. Maybe it
wasn't 'always' here, but it's been around for a long time. Not that it looked
anything like our corn today.
