Having been a regular customer of theirs before I went low carb,

Bagel stores have various flavored spreads. One of them was the cream
cheese
with onions and chives. Chives are a great idea for an addition to cream
cheese, but adding onions to the mix seemed idiotically redundant, but I
digress. That is likely one of the places she would have gotten it from
though.


It works very well with dried chives too.... you can buy them in the spice
section.
