Latest attack of virus.... Don't open or go for them.
Well, duh! This account runs on a unix system and I read the mail there
with pine. I have never, ever opened an attachment there. In fact, I
rarely read mail there at all, since this is the account I use for usenet
and is harvested regularly.
In fact, that's the nature of this attack: every usenet address is
bouncing back "my" forwarded message about microsoft internet
updates. :-)
The bitch of it is that they use so many different words, some of them
common. I've had to put in three large filters: one for "to", one for
"from" and one for "subjet". My email is taking longer to open by quite a
lot now!
Have fun wherever you are headed.
The mid-atlantic coast. :-) Seriously, we're going to spend the week-end
in the D.C. area. My FIL just called to say, "you're not really going,
are you?" I replied, "We laugh in the face of danger. Ha ha ha!"
