A tip I received on another newsgroup was most helpful: to stop seeing
most USENET spam (such as pill hawking, meaningless blogspot junk,
make money fast, clickbank affiliates etc), all I have to do is block
Google Groups posters.

I tried it and it works most effectively. It kills most, if not all,
spam.

If there are any genuine Google Groups posters, I can always unblock
them.
