Yes, and please make sure that you don't "steal" the recipes from other
people and then put them in a cookbook called..."My original Low Carb
Recipes" or something equally ridiculous. That is really annoying.

Cheri, I was thinking, rather of a compilation of hamburger recipes (100
or so) in a pdf...and anyone who sent me a recipe to add to it could
email me and I'd send them a copy gratis.

If I offered it somewhere for sale for something like $.99, any
contributed recipe would retain the contributor's name.

I have written several books of fiction published by legitimate
publishers--stealing authorship of hamburger recipes is sadly pedestrian
not to mention unethical. In fact, going to the trouble of putting
together a web sales page comes close to outweighing the effort. We all
know that gazillions of decent recipes are out there for free wandering
loose in the internet, though many of them need tweaking to be both low
carb and edible. My recipes tend to be like jigsaw puzzles with
alternating pieces anyway--I mean--if the recipe is for ground beef and
I have chicken, then why not use ground chicken?

Another point is the concept of stealing a recipe. If I talk about
sautéing hamburgers and putting a slice of cheese over them, it's not
exactly original. I bet the group could come up with 100 variations on
plain old hamburgers, if it comes down to it. Or 100 meatloafs. Or 100
stews. All that varies are a few particulars, additions and substitutions.

Recipes can be a motivation and frankly I'm at a point where I need some
motivation.
