No, I meant that Bob required you to pick a sex!! (g)
Sardines with onions are fine but too much efforts early in the a.m.
before a ski trip, a GREAT SKI TRIP, as it turns out.
I get that famished feeling after a lot of exercise and it cannot
easily be quenched. Tomorrow is probably going to be one of those
days, which is why I don't believe that Flex's requirement that I eat
all of my activity points on the day of activity is right - not for
_ME_.
I also don't think I can go down much more - Most of my lower body is
muscle but like you, I could work the upper body quite a bit more.
Very little, other than ski poling, works that but my lower body gets
all kinds of exercise. (sipping port now that the skinny cow is
finished) I'm hoping to counter the green tea from sushi dinner as it
appears to keep me awake so the port is intended to redeaden things
(G)
I think you have done great and there is no reason to push down the
range. I think WW has worked wonders and I think that their weight
ranges are pretty realistic and there is a RANGE for a reason - not
everyone should be top or bottom.
Funny, just now at sushi the folks sitting next to me ordered sashimi
(no rice) and I made an Atkins comment. They both said they did WW
(G). He made lifetime and she was also there, I believe. They also
mentioned that they bought the stock when it first went public and did
well. He lost 20 pounds and asked me how much. I said 60 and they
were both dumbfounded - asking about twice more! We had a great time
discussing foods and diets while eating dinner (G)

oh man, what a great breakfast, oatmeal and sardines. I love sardines,

with onion (iced) and ak mak crackers. Bob did not force me, but it did
give me another opinion. And it kind of agrees with all the people who
see
me. Nobody is encouraging me to lose any more, even my thin women
friends
have all said Stop. The ones that used to look at me like I was nuts
when I
wanted to stop at 200 and 180 etc. I get hungry when I overeat, but it
is a
different hungry than the hungry that shows up when I hit 156. THAT is
an
eat the paint off the walls, dizzy spells kind of hungry. And I do want
to
try and build up my upper body strength to where it was when I started
this,
which may call for more food. I know I am most likely to get
dizzy/hungry
days when I do a real lively weights workout, and have the lower end of
my
weight range.

Interesting info. All of it including Bob Greene forcing you to make
a choice (G)
Now, how do you pronounce Y Ya?
I think the famished is probably a good indication that the body needs
more food. But then again, I would have said that at a HIGHER weight
since I still somewhat believe those damn little fat cells are
secreting hormones demanding to be fed again!!!?????? That would
cause the resultant demand for food????
I'm in hover mode now - up a fraction, down a fraction. I like it
here, too just around 158 or so. At least, the way I feel biking and
skiing....
Sardines (second course) are calling....

Loosely translated y Ya, means "and whatever" "and so on" "and thats
it",
that kind of thing. I am a happy camper my own scale is back to 157
this
morning. The leader thinks 155 is not realistic because of my muscle
mass,
and the size I am right now, as in measurements. She thinks I am
done.
Also, I do still have enough skin to cover 365 pounds although it has
done a
fabulous job of shrinking up, It doesn't flake off or anything. And
the
way
I tend to get Ferociously hungry and feel weak when I try to get below
where
I am right now. My bone structure is fairly average, but I began
weightlifting while I was still in the mid 250's and I was not dieting
at
the time. I have lost some of the muscle mass, but you can still
clearly
see quite a bit of it here and there, particularly in my quads and my
shoulders. Bob Greene uses height, age, weight, waist measurement and
sex
(there was no place for "no" in the sex choices so I went with F for
failing). My waist measurement is 29 inches. Also, the top of me
(lets
not
get too specific) still has two rather large weights that I don't care
to
totally lose, they give the body some shape. Y Ya. Gonna stick as
close
to
157 as I can. She does not think that is realistic either, but
whatever.
She thinks the 164 goal is good. But I am not going there.

A MAINTAIN below GOAL is a GOOD THING (as Martha would say).
Mind if I ask why the leader thought 155 was not realistic? Bone
size
or bone density or?????
What does that Bob Greene site use to make that determination?
And is that "y Ya?" And if so, what does it mean when they say it
down "thar?"

My average for the week was 160. At least I am fairly sure next
week
will
be a loss. My leader at my meeting (where I was at 159.5) said
that
it
is
probably not realistic for me to try to get to 155 anyway. I put
my
measurements into a site that Bob Greene has up, and came out with
"athletic" category at 19. something percent body fat. I am going
to
quit
trying to lose more and just concentrate on staying in the high one
fifties,
y Ya as they say here
