Default Is there bread I can eat during phase 1 south beach diet?

Is there any bread available in supermarkets or health-food stores that
is compatible with the south beach diet phase 1?

I'm no expert on SB, but I don't think any bread would
meet the rules for phase 1. There are LC breads
available, Pepperidge Farm makes one that is 5g carbs
per slice. Could you have a slice or two of that and
still be successful? Maybe. It depends on the person.
For some with less metabolic resistance, for example,
it could be fine. For others, maybe not.
