I am really struggling through the induction phase, and it didn't make
it any better when I found out that the Chicken Breast Strips I ate
from Jack in the Box weren't low in carbs (36 grams per serving!). I
understand that it takes approximately two days for your carb reserves
to wear out during induction and for ketosis to begin. I was planning
on staying under 15 grams a day starting today but unfortunately that
is not going to happen. Also, any advice on limits of calories or fat
would be helpful. I was thinking of 1500 calories a day and maybe 30%
of that from fat. Anything regarding induction and what has helped
you would be of great help to me.

Thanks,
tmb

Someone here recently posted that if you take your weight and multiply it by
10 or 12, then that's the number of calories you amy consume on a daily
basis. I thought it sounded fairly reasonable.

10 to 12x body weight is closer to maintenance for most people. i'd
recommend starting with 10x and if that doesn't produce loss, then
cutting back to 8 or 9x body weight.
