That was a good move. There are some food that bug me that I either no
longer purchase (which means they generally don't come into the house at
all -- certain chip type items) or that I will buy but put in my
husband's home office (chocolate type things usually). He knows to put
them in a drawer or something. It becomes and out of sight out of mind
thing for me and I don't go through his things so that works for us.

DH has been supper supportive. I think that it helps that I do the menu
one week at a time. I list some entree choices and he matches them to
the day of the week. That way he has some say so (if he doesn't like
the choices, we revisit them at that time). The only problems that I
run into are weekend lunches (he would like to go out) and if we go out
to dinner (he sometimes wants choices that I don't feel "safe" with).
Overall, though, he's been really good.

It sounds like you have a supportive environment too. That sure helps!
